We are a friendly group of people who live in the DC-metro area and are all interested in exploring the works of Shakespeare, starting with the plays. Together, we read, see, discuss, and otherwise *explore* Shakespeare (we will maybe even practice the plays, at least in part!). We welcome anyone with an interest in spending time with the Bard. The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory sponsors this group as part of it's ongoing mission to expose people af all ages and backgrounds in Bmore (and beyond) to the Bard! Welcome to the Washington DC Medieval Reading Group! What we do: The Medieval Reading Group meets to discuss works of the middle ages.  Our focus is on Medieval English Literature, but we will read various genres, and make occasional pilgrimages to the continent.  The format follows that of "Great Books" Seminars (please read).  You do not have to have any special knowledge to participate, just a willingness to meet the text on its own terms.  All selections will be read in translation.  I will …
